PROFIT PROFUSION
GOOGLE PROFUSION
Last night I signed up to receive a US $3.88 'kit' from a group called GOOGLE PROFUSION (which turned out to be PROFIT PROFUSION - and in my currency (SOUTH AFRICAN) the kit should have cost about 3.88 x 7.60 , i.e. R30 in my currency. I was billed a whopping R488 and do you think I've had any replies to my comment?! Worst thing is, I trusted the ad (which I can't see now) on the sidebar of a facebook page ... and I went and deleted my browsing history last night after the mastercard payment went through! I feel sick.

Profit Profusion - Another Report
I live in Indonesia. It happened when I was browsing my Facebook on Fri, Sept 25, 2009, I saw a sidebar ads mentioning about Mystery Shopper. Without thinking that the ads could be fraudulent one, I clicked it. To my surprise I found the story about money making program featuring young Indonesian woman (Ms Purba) who got rich by simply posting something on Google. Firstly, I felt a little bit strange because there’s no connection between Mystery Shopper and posting something on Google. But after further reading her stories and other women, I agreed to sign up and gave my credit card details. Honestly, this was my first purchase through internet, and I was pretty sure that Facebook will not place bogus ads on their site-besides what’s wrong to spend $4 to get the kit.
Later on, I was so shocked when I checked my CC provider that I was charged for $63 instead of $3.88. I felt so stupid being ripped off by this scam. I really wish I have researched for more info before signing up. And as per Cecile’s advice-the next day (Sept 26) I wrote to their billing dept to cancel my order as soon as possible. And on Sunday, I got this reply: Reply of ticket BILL-09-26-3E8D4:
Dear Grace,
We are sorry to hear the ProfitProfusion.com system did not work for you but we
have completed your request and canceled your subscription so you will no longer
be billed.
After that, I tried to reply back to their e-mail address asking them to return my money, but only to find a failure notice from yahoo.
If you see the words "Profit Profusion" or "Google Profusion" run like hell!

However, once they get your money to bad so sad, your on your own. I have covered a couple of these scams on report-online-scams.com recently. I would high encourage that you check out this "RebateProcessorJobs.com Scam" and this "Underground Cash Secret Scam", as well. I have a lot more work at home scams I will be covering in the future, as well.
